What are your fondest memories of 2009? What were the low points? All told, what were the most significant events of 2009? Do you wish you could do it all over again?

Fondest - the Silver Lining I found amongst it all.
Low points - numerous.
Significant points - 1 death, New Job, Lost Job, End of one period start of a wonderful new one, family issues (that continue)....
No - but I wouldn't change it.

Juggling family.

I manage mainly by ignoring it.
It was easier as a kid. It was easier when I believed. I enjoy it differently now. I look forward to this one.

Today, perhaps. I feel a little avoidant.
This month, maybe. But I'm not sure how I would change things -perhaps be firmer.
This year, no. To change one thing could mean I wasn't where I am now - yes ok, there is a lot of bad stuff happening, but there is good stuff too. I am allowed to be happy. Being happy is ok. Knowing that, no I don't think I would change the year. Also, who knows how important today or this month has been - maybe I wouldn't change it either.

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.
